Users Review.
I only hope that we can always continue to see this level of value in the market, now that Lenovo has buy Motorola. I strongly recommend this phone to users. Considering the great performance and specs with affordable price (less than $180). I would say this phone is an excellent pick and has a value.

Firstly, you must keep in mind that this is a 'middle range' phone and I rate the phone as such. If I could give a half star rating, I would rate the phone with 4.5 stars over 5. I giving it a 4 and it seems too low. It’s because there is no Infrared blaster, no LTE and no NFC, so this phone does not stand with the other device like a Galaxy Note 4, LG G3 or HTC M8, nor even to close. But I can say that the phone is still amazing and it will not disappoint the users.

Lenovo Tab S8

There is no NFC, so users don’t have to pay with the phone via Google Wallet or sharing their photos by placing devices close back to back. To start the device, it is powered by an octal-core processor at 1.4GHz with the assist of 2GB RAM and Mail 450 GPU. There is no LTE, but its HSPA will give you fast download speeds of over 30 Mbps. There is WiFi direct and you can use the phone hot spot out of the box without paying extra cost. The UI runs a top of Android 4.2v Jelly Bean, but has an impression of iPhone 'feel' to it. You especially notice it while using the Settings, fonts, the menu arrangement and colouring features.

S8 was able to run my favourite games easily (Marvel Champions and Castle Clash). This device is very suitable or those newbie to Android smartphone or those wanting to get their kid a good but not expensive phone and familiar with iOS interface system. You may find this device is welcome when making the transition from an iProduct such as video chatting via Hangouts as well as selfies are crisp with the 5 MP front facing camera. The display screen offers an HD resolution of 7200 p. I could barely see the difference in image quality when running video side by side with my Galaxy Note 3 (1080p). Colours are little vibrant and this obviously shows when you taking pictures with the camera.

The unlocked dual SIM feature is great. You can have literally have two active numbers and choose from which you want to call or text from. The only issue I have with this device is it only offer 2G data speeds. There is also less afford with auto focus (the same issue with Samsung GN3) and the rear 13MP shooter snaps movements with ease. Storage is not a big issue as it will starts you off with a good additional with 14GB after the system need its share. You can easily expand this with the build in mini-SD slot.

You know what? The cool thing with Lenovo S8 is with metadata, Play Music will automatically pick up the songs and add them to your play list collection. There is so much to like about this phone, so why I’m still not giving 5 stars? There is the same for the “Home” screen, the folders are rounded squares like the other Android instead of cute circles like on an iPhone device, so little things. Besides that, the device is very easy to use and quick responsive too. I also like the lock screen bubbles feature which display you the most used/recent apps. So you can easily access them right away by just swiping aside the bubble. For your information, I have never use the pre-load apps, but the device online radio is great. You can also search for song titles and download the song to your play list content

The lower rear area and frame seem as if they were being spray-painted, the paint would take off on its own. And the scratches seem did not mark the area, not to say it would actually happen, but the quality looks that way. The screen and innards do look and feel sturdy, as they got tired when it came to the finishing to the battery door. The glass at the lower rear as well are fingerprint magnets. A good case protector like vault case will take care of the physical look.

About the little issue I mentioned before about the build. The phone is actually an eye catcher. It is sexy and slim. The speakers are placed correctly and the bezel is in the right bearing. The touch screen glass is big, so coins and keys should have little effect on it. The device body/housing is made up from plastic and unfortunately the battery cover feels something from cheap design. I did have sit on the phone by mistake and it was amazingly able to sustain my body weight. So it is much stronger than it 'looks'.
